About Homebush

Homebush is the name of a shopping center, historic Railway stations, and suburb in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia. It is fifteen kilometers west of the Sydney central business district.

At the 2016 ABS census, there were 7,007 residents in Homebush, in which 53.3% were male and 46.7% were females. 30.5% of people were born in Australia. There were 1,715 families, too.

The first name of the settlement at what is today known as Homebush was "Liberty Plains". It was a group of grants given to the Colony`s first free settlers, who arrived on the ship "Bellona" in 1793.
