About Five Dock
Five Dock is a suburb in the Inner West, and it is one of the suburbs in New South Wales, Australia. It is ten kilometers west of the Sydney central business district.

History of Five Dock
On 3 February 1805, the earliest written reference to Five Dock was found in The Sydney Gazette of which states Five Dock Bay. Yet, the name dates back to the days of the First Settlement.
The foundation stone of Five Dock Public School was laid in the grounds of St Alban’s church in 1858 that later opened in 1861.
St Alban`s Anglican Church is a Gothic church, constructed of brick and stone in 1924.
